In order to apply for a security guard licence, you must write the security guard licence exam and pass the exam. To write the security guard exam, you would require a Training Completion Number (TCN). To get the TCN number, you must successfully complete mandatory security guard licence training and Emergency First Aid & CPR Level C.
If you have VALID Emergency First Aid & CPR Level C, you can register for our security guard licence training course only and we will accept your VALID Emergency First Aid & CPR Level C certificate. If you do not have one, then you will need to sign up for our ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGE, which covers everything to get the Training Completion number (TCN).
Blended Learning means on-line / in-class training. Instead of doing everything is class, you would complete part of the course at home or office and other part in-class. Participants must first complete the self-paced online component, which includes a knowledge evaluation, then successfully complete an instructor-led classroom component (skills practice and evaluation session) in order to achieve certification.

In order for you to write and get an Ontario security licence you will need a PERMANENT VALID Emergency First Aid & CPR, first aid training must be delivered by a first aid trainer approved by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (Ontario) (WSIB) and must be delivered to candidates in-person for no less than 6.5 hours. If you the above certificate, you may apply for security guard licence training only. You do not need need to send your certificate now. We will ask you to upload once you complete your security guard licence training.

Once you complete the course(s), you will receive an email instantly requesting documents. Once we receive the documents properly completed, you will receive the training completion number (TCN)
When we send you training completion number (TCN), we will also send you instructions about how & where to write the exam.

It is always recommended to make an appointment to avoid the queue. However, you can simply walk-in our regular business hours.
Applicants should bring two pieces of valid government issued identification and one must be a photo ID. The following are types of acceptable identification:
- Passport
- Driver’s Licence
- Birth Certificate
- Canadian Citizenship Card
- Permanent Resident Card
- Certificate of Indian Status
- Immigration documents i.e. work or study permits
- Military Family ID Card (MFID)
- Record of Landing for Citizenship Applicant
- Certificate of Live Birth
- Nexus card
Notes:
- All identification must be current and not expired.
- All digital fingerprinting requests for Canadian Citizenship must include a letter from Citizenship and Immigration Canada. This letter must include the address for third party results and should have a CIC file number, which will be included in your transaction. Please ensure this letter is available during the fingerprinting application session.
It normally takes approximately 10 minutes to capture your fingerprints.
For federal government security clearances, results will be sent back to the requesting federal department.
For all other applications, results can be sent directly to you or to a designated third party of your choosing.
If no criminal record is present, results will go out in the mail within three business days. For clients who have a criminal record, the process may take a bit longer.
Processing times for fingerprint-based background checks are determined by the RCMP. Typically, transactions where no criminal record is present are completed in 3 business days and then mailed out to the requested address. If a criminal record is present, the processing may take longer. Please consult the RCMP’s website for details on processing times.

Yes. All our courses are WSIB approved and valid for 3 years. In fact, we are the training partner with RED CROSS and you will receive only RED CROSS certificate.
For workplaces, it varies provincially and depends on the workplace settings. Emergency First Aid CPR/AED is 1-DAY course (either in-class /blended) and Standard First Aid CPR/AED is a 2-DAYS course (either in-class/blended) and deals with both life-threatening and non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses. You should always consult your workplace and/or other sources to make sure you are selecting the right course. For more information you can always contact us. The minimum requirements to get Ontario Security Guard Licence training is Emergency First Aid & CPR Level C.
Emergency First Aid meets the requirements of some employers and provincial workplaces. These usually include recreational facility staff, summer camp councilors, personal trainers, medical and laboratory technicians, security guards, etc. The minimum requirement to receive a security guard licence is emergency First Aid. Standard First Aid is on the same token the most common type of course that is required in most workplaces and provincial bodies. People who have Standard First Aid training can offer far more assistance during emergencies, including illnesses, life-threatening emergencies, and serious injuries. Check with your institution what type of training you require before enrolling for one.
While Level A concentrate on adult only, Level C teaches both adult and child.
